A typical adolescent’s scrapbook of 1914 containing various notes of Smyrniot teenagers. Some of the topics are: "Which suburb of Smyrna do you prefer?" - "What kind are the ladies of Smyrna?" - "What is virtue?" and the answer of a girl: "Virtue is always in the girls of Smyrna." Many of the questions / answers indicate the social environment of children and reflect the mentalities, habits, dreams, and aspirations of the Smyrna youth a few years before the Catastrophe.
