The width, but not the thickness of the tile preserved. Broken in antiquity and mended with two metal pegs.
Coarse gritty pinkish clay, covered with greenish slip where exposed. On the soffit, a red and black band; on the fillet below the cyma, a maeander in black with red squares filled in by checkerboard. On the cyma, egg and dart in black, the darts filled with red. On the fillet above the cyma, bead and reel in black. The right edge projects beyond the decorated face, to fit over the next tile, behind. The left edge is correspondingly cut back.
