trial_description_8:
A corner fragment from a large flat cover tile, which had an antefix placed symmetrically at the corner. The angle of the corner appears to be 90 degrees. The underside is channeled along either edge to overlap a neighboring tile, and the mid-part is cut back to grip the clay bedding.
Buff clay with brown grog, surfaced with fine yellow clay.
Similar to the eaves cover tiles of the Tholos, but the angle is greater.
