a) Corner of abacus, most of face of one volute decorated with spirals. Square dowel hole and pour channel in top.
b) From the center of a bolster. Two bands decorated with acanthus leaves flanked by two bands of imbricated leaf pattern.
Pentelic marble.
Nos. A 1579 (ΣΑ 705), A 1580 (ΣΑ 706) and A 1581 (ΣΑ 707) were found together. Some show blackening by fire; all are cracked. Also with these pieces were fragments of an antefix.
