Full length preserved; part of edge of wider end chipped away. Bit of white mortar preserved around collar. Very heavily encrusted, inside and out, with water deposit.
Light pinkish buff clay; lighter buff at surfaces. Two pairs of shallow grooves around the sides.
ADDENDA February 1956: Another piece, same series and same place, added to storage, with bracketed number [A 2018].
June 1959: Small piece of the cement given to Mr. Stevens for testing in connection with experiments with material need for bronze-casting molds.
