Fragments of molding and fragments with half life-size painted faces. Upper left hand part of round head, showing part of nose and left eye. Full front view. Face daubed onto white plaster with broad careless strokes in dull brick-purple and muddy yellow. Muddy yellow lines for brow, nose and cheek. Eye outlined in same brick-purple as hair. Paint flaking off cheek and part of hair. Flesh tone a thinner brick-purple. Second face, on yellow background, shows two eyes, nose and mouth. Coloring similar to first face in use of brick-purple, but flesh tones are less red, and on the forehead is a filled circle of white extending also down bridge of nose, presumably to show highlight. The yellow ground on which the face was painted shows through where the paint has flaked off. Molding from top of wall.
