Square joint preserved at one end; other end broken; assembled from two fragments. Cutting for end dowel on underside of square end. Small round hole roughly worked through cavetto molding; opening above in square sinking; both centered 0.38m. from joint end. The heavier wear and the lighter weathering on the side, on which these holes occur, suggest that this was the inner edge of the parapet. From Stoa of Attalos. Pentelic marble.
