trial_description_8:
Hawk's beak of 5th c. profile; crowning ovolo rough. In top are cuttings for two Π-clamps leading back to wall block (originally they had intended but a single clamp in the middle of the block, for which a cutting remains largely removed by the bedding of the architrave). The weathering suggests that the left side of the anta, as one faced it, was toward the outside. Pentelic marble.
