Corner sima tile preserving molded raking face and part of return on end. Broken at back but full thickness preserved. Molding is Corinthian sima type consisting of fascia, ovolo and crowning fillet. Decorated in red and black paint and pattern of alternating palmettes and lotus buds on both face and return. Palmettes have plump leaves and almost circular surround. Lotus buds have individual leaves articulated. Crowning fillet with running leaf pattern. Narrow band along edge of top surface: on soffit red band, wider along front than on return. On back, top surface and end, traces of applied corner acroterion.
Coarse reddish-buff clay with fine yellow clay slip.
