Upper left corner is broken off but joining fragment survives. Like A 3732 but from straight course. On upper surface are cutting for Π-clamp on right, lewis hole in center, and dowel (?) hole on left. Note the rough rectangular notch cut from back left corner. Anathyrosis at both ends. Pentelic marble.

From between Panathenaic Way and east end of Middle Stoa. The blocks A 3732-3739, appears to have been removed from the northern tower of the Late Roman Fortification Wall at the south end of the Stoa of Attalos. It was recovered from the marble pile left by the excavations of the 1860's and set in its present position in the early 1950's.
