Chips from palmette missing. Lower left corner broken away. Cover tile preserved 0.082m. from front face of antefix. Calyx of three acanthus leaves. From it spring two fluted stems, each dividing into two scrolls, one toward outside, one toward inside. Lower, outer scroll sprouts smaller scrolls. Flower between stems and at point where two main stems divide. All surmounted by eleven-petaled palmette with concave petals. Cf. A 3825. Reddish buff clay with traces of white slip.
