a) Preserves top, front and side surfaces. Part of the curved abacus appears at left edge. The volute is beginning to curve down. Plaster in face.
b) Part of volute at right, and part of upper surface. Note white plaster in volute.
c) Comes from upper right part of top surface, top of volute and abacus.
d) From upper left - top of volute, which curves down on both sides. White plaster. Note black line, near edge of top surface.
e) Preserves top surface, abacus and edge of volute. Surface plastered.
f) Preserves eye of volute which was hollow. Volute appears to be painted red. Note black line inside eye of volute.
g) Preserves face of volute and part of baluster, which is heavily plastered.
h) Preserves face of volute and part of echinus, which is painted green. Traces of red on underside of volute.
i) Fragment of top surface.
j) Fragment of top surface - note chisel marks.
k) Plastered face with traces of red. Soft crumbling yellow poros turned salmon red in places, probably due to fire.
