Post from round base beside Tholos.
Top is chipped, but full height is probably preserved. The shaft tapers slightly from bottom to top; its lower end is worked as a tenon. Roughly rectangular in cross-section with chamfered edges. All surfaces roughly worked.
The post was set down into the top of a round poros base just in front of the west end of Archaic Building J; it made contact with the round poros base set directly above in the period of the Tholos, thus indicating continuity in the use of the base.
Soft, tan-colored poros.
