Probably the upper right hand corner of a roofing cover tile preserving part of the resting surface and a flange for interlocking the tiles (?). One half of the exterior surface, as well as parts of the broken edges, are blackened. Flat top surface adjoins curved, which adjoins vertical face thereby giving a faceted appearance. Flange rises up 0.018m. from the top surface in a gentle curve. Facetting is not repeated on the interior where there is only a smooth curve down to the flat resting surface. Coarse buff yellow clay with few inclusions.
