Single fragment, broken along three sides. One face very smooth and flat, probably slipped, carries corner of a cutting (ca. 0.03 x 0.04 m. preserved) with outward sloping walls scraped out with tool from the preserved edge when clay was still unfired. Opposite face also smooth but with three surface planes: middle plane curves up at preserved edge to a rectangular thickening. Preserved edge of tile carries tooling marks across the thickness in one place and a shallow depression. Coarse buff fabric with many coarse dark inclusions.
