In top and bottom faces, three deep indentations (done with thumb or a stick, impressed from 'center' outwards) for keying in the adjacent element. Local coarse-ware fabric: brownish, with brown-gray grits. Yellowish surface-wash (not present on the bottom). A hypocaust or industrial furnace element? Type as A 2486, A 4282
