Large bronze pan with lid(?) in many and various fragments and severe corrosion.
Bottom in one piece with piece of wall still standing. Few, very fragmentary, wall fragments. Crescent-shaped flat bronze fragment with much iron stain, heavy and thicker than base, possibly the lid. A large lump of iron with part of bronze cover melted into it. A thick wooden fragment broken from a circular piece, biconical in profile.
A complete wooden handle attached to a chunk of iron and most likely to a piece of the lid. Truncated conical handle, with very smooth surface, and two vertical holes for attachment.
2nd/early 3rd century AD.
