Eleven pieces from similar bones, worked:
g) split lengthwise into two parts and mended.
k) and l), two sections cut from similar long pieces.
All the worked pieces (b-l) exhibit carefully-cut ends. Working material from a factory which produced objects of bone: flutes (?)
"13 fragments in all. Two are parts of the same broken but unworked bone, and it is the metatarsal of a small deer (smaller than C. elaphus. Could be capreolus, but seems a bit big. Fallow deer (?) One is a small Bos metatarsal. the rest are all small deer metatarsals and metacarpals" (Phelps, 1966).
